This is... an incident. An outrageous, outrageous soundboard album has come out! This work is a press 2CD live album that captures the entire story of Queen's infamous 1984 "Sun City Performance" in South Africa. Yes, this is the complete version of "SUN CITY" that shocked QUEEN enthusiasts all over the world in 2009!! I'm afraid to explain it to QUEEN fans now, but just in case. Sun City is a resort town in South Africa, which at the time was criticized around the world for its apartheid policy. A cultural boycott was called for by the United Nations, but QUEEN broke the call and went ahead with the live performance. As a result, it is a live performance that has caused the band itself to be criticized from all over the world. This work is a leaked soundboard sound source that recorded the 8th of the 9 Sun City performances. In 2009, only the first half of the live performance was discovered and released as "SUN CITY". This appearance was also a huge shock. After all, until then, even though it was famous in history, there was no sound source record of the Sun City performance, and at most only the schedule was known. There are other musicians, including BLACK SABBATH, who have performed live in his hometown, but their recordings have rarely been released. A live sound source suddenly jumped out from that dark continent, and moreover, with a sound board directly connected to the table! It's been six years since I thought I'd never experience a shock like this again. Surprisingly, in 2015, the second half suddenly appeared. This is a live album that is making a fuss among QUEEN enthusiasts all over the world right now! If you have experienced “SUN CITY”, you probably know that, but since it is directly connected to the table, the cheers only echo far away. Not only the performance, but also every corner of the effect, all of the music is a direct sound that jumps into your ears without any obstruction. Moreover, the content of the live performance recorded with that sound is also shocking. As mentioned above, the “Sun City performance” has a strong negative image, but the reality is far from negative, it is an extremely wonderful live. Speaking of “THE WORKS TOUR”, Freddie seems tired and there are some live performances that lack enthusiasm, but this work is in perfect condition. I'll improvise and play with the early songs ``The March Of The Black Queen'' and ``My Fairy King'' (very rare!!!), and the high notes of ``Seven Seas Of Rhye'' are also perfect. It is the best stage where the enthusiasm and condition are the best. Jumping through octaves with ease, the powerful song continues until the very end, with plenty of passion and good intonation. Absolutely, absolutely stunning. Not only the singing but also the performers exuded a passion that far exceeded their usual passion. Brian probably wasn't lying when he said, ``I thought about it for almost a year before deciding to go.I wanted to help the people in the anti-apartheid movement.'' They stood in South Africa and performed "I Want To Break Free," which was sung locally as an anti-apartheid protest song. The cheers in this work are only slightly audible from a distance beyond the realistic immediate sound, including the sound of the strings being rubbed, but it is still powerful enough to be heard. We're a band that isn't interested in politics to begin with, but it was a real tragedy that the public didn't understand us. At the end of this work, we also included a 17-and-a-half-minute interview that realistically conveys the members' confusion. In a 1986 radio interview with Brian and Roger, the two carefully chose their words when asked about their Sun City performance. At the time, the Sun City performance was only felt as a piece of news, but because you listen to it immediately after the big denouement that occurred at the scene, the gap with the cold reaction of the world is striking. This pursuit awaited after mere goodwill was greeted with enthusiasm. Although the "Sun City performance" remains in history with only bad reviews, what was unfolding at the scene was a lively QUEEN rock that was bursting with energy. After this, in addition to their long-standing personal relationship, they received a barrage of international bashing, and were on the verge of disbanding. The following year, in 1985, they continued touring in South America, Australia, and Japan, but with such a passionate performance...it may not have been until LIVE AID that changed their fate. Although it is a major excavation that is a major event in the history of sound sources, the entire volume is valuable both historically and geographically. On top of that, it is one that has the best sound and the best live performance on “THE WORKS TOUR”. I don't know how many times I've written the phrase "must listen", but if I had known that such an amazing album would be released, I would have kept it. A must-listen album that will leave you with some strange regrets. Can you stop listening!? Disc 1(44:11) 1. Machines Intro. 2. Tear It Up 3. Tie Your Mother Down 4. Under Pressure 5.
