QUEEN, whose latest show is also gaining popularity due to the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody", has released a masterpiece original recording of their latest show. This work was recorded by a Japanese recordist. It is a record of a trip to the UK by a master who has been producing masterpieces in Japan, and is one of the masterpieces that was directly converted to CD from the original master handed over directly by the artist himself. The Japanese master was inhaling the "London performance on July 4, 2018". QUEEN + Adam recently finished their European tour with a performance in Dublin, and are currently off for about two months. In order to find out what's going on, let's first check out the show from the whole world tour. [2017] June 23-August 5: North America (26 performances) November 1-December 16: Europe #1 (26 performances) [2018] February 17-March 6: Oceania (10 performances) June 7-July 8: Europe #2 (16 performances) ←★Here★ September 1-22: Las Vegas (10 performances) This is the overall picture of the tour that has been continuing since last year. In September, an unprecedented 10 consecutive performances in Las Vegas are scheduled, but this work is the 14th performance of "Europe #2", which is the final stage of the main tour prior to that. In QUEEN's hometown of London, there are three consecutive performances (1 Wembley + 2 THE O2), and this is the concert on the final day. This work, which absorbed such a show, is a very neat audience recording. It is the only master of this work that is not available on the Internet, but if it is released online, it will surely be a hot topic. The slightly wrapped venue acoustics give a sense of the spectacle of THE O2 Arena, one of the largest in London, but that doesn't mean it's "far away". The acoustics only produce the "luster" of the performance sound and the "stretch" of the singing voice, and the core is very on and the details are vivid. That's because the position where the Japanese recordist took up was "first floor center row 5". Because the stage is so close, the output sound of the PA jumps straight in, and the echo feeling extends to the back of the head. Such a three-dimensional effect is even beautiful. What's even more delicious is the enthusiasm unique to the tournament. Of course, this work is not a bad recording full of screams. Only in the front seats, the huge enthusiasm and cheers are behind the recorder. It is the type that carries a huge cheer from behind, and no matter how excited it gets, the music itself is extremely beautiful. With such a balance, a wave of chorus unique to the home country, where every word of the lyrics is tight, surges in. In addition, (perhaps a Japanese sensibility) the very neat tone is also tasteful. In fact, the powerful bass sounds like it might distort, but it holds on just before that, and the sound particles are fine and bright. When it comes to overseas recordings, there are many types that compete to get as close as possible to the sound board, but this work does not dare to stand in that ring. While valuing the spreading on-site feeling that is unique to the audience, it is striving to draw a beautiful and powerful core. It is a masterpiece recording that is particular about "beauty because it is a customer record". The show depicted with such a sound is a brilliant and powerful show. We reported on the latest tour in the masterpiece "BERLIN 2018 (Uxbridge 854)" at our shop, and this work has the same set. Starting with "Tear It Up", which was Freddie's last performance since Knebworth in 1986, "Seven Seas of Rhye", "Tie Your Mother Down", and "Play the Game" are delicious songs one after another. You can also experience the delicious scenes unique to the latest tour, such as "Lucy" performed with Brian May on Adam's latest work "THE ORIGINAL HIGH", "I'm In Love With My Car" sung by Roger Taylor, and the drum battle between Roger and Tyler Warren (the drummer of the official tribute band QUEEN EXTRAVAGANZA), who replaced Rufus Taylor. It's been almost two years since the wonderful 2016 Japan tour. It may not be possible to visit Japan on the changed-style "TOUR 2017-2018", but what kind of live album would they have left behind if they had realized it? This work is a meticulous Japanese recording that actually lets you listen to such "what if". Live at The O2 Arena, London, UK 4th July 2018 Disc 1 (71:54) 1. Intro 2. Tear It Up 3.
