From the 1979 Japan tour, the Fukuoka Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium performances on April 30th and May 1st, which were held on two consecutive days during Golden Week, were recorded with good audience recordings. The first day's performance includes two existing sound sources. Tape #1 is recorded for 112 minutes and almost the entire show is recorded, and the sound quality is good enough. The overall sound is captured with a soft sound image with a bulge, and the screams and clapping of the female audience are not heard, so you can immerse yourself in the live sound source comfortably. Before Let Me Entertain You, Freddie MCs in Japanese, saying, "We are happy to be back in Fukuoka!" Before Somebody To Love, Brian greets in Japanese. Freddie's light piano before the following Death On Two Legs also feels good. The enthusiasm in the venue at I'm In Love With My Car, where Roger is in the spotlight, is also recorded realistically. The tape deterioration during the tape SE part in the middle of Get Down Make Love causes the sound to fluctuate, but it soon recovers. Teo Torriatte, with its chorus of the entire venue, and Love Of My Life, with Freddie's passionate vocals, are both moving (although the "I still love you" part has been changed). There is a tape change cut at 1:25 in It's Late, and the first half is uncollected. Both Brighton Rock and Keep Yourself Alive have a good performance and energetic vocals, but in Bohemian Rhapsody Freddie can't hit the high notes and seems to be in a lot of pain, and the hard rock part in the second half also has a great fake vocal. The sound gets worse from 1:06 to 1:41 in Tie Your Mother Down, but it returns to normal. God Save The Queen is recorded for 26 seconds. Tape #2 from the first day, recorded on discs 3 and 4, is about 94 minutes long, with the major cut part being in It's Late, and the song is only recorded for about 1 minute. From there, it suddenly jumps to the guitar solo of the next song, Brighton Rock, and that part is uncollected. However, the sound quality is better than #1, and this version, which can be heard with clear and punchy excellent sound quality, is definitely a must-listen for fans. #2 includes God Save The Queen until the end. It's strange that listening to it with this better sound quality gives a different impression from the first day image of Fukuoka that can be heard in #1. The May 1st performance take recorded on discs 5 and 6 is almost completely recorded over about 2 hours with a good sound full of realism. The MC before Let Me Entertain You is the Japan tour standard version of "Konbanwa, Ikagadesuka, Are you ready to rock (X2) OK let's do it!". The atmosphere is also excellent with the chorus support of the female customers in the second half of Somebody To Love, where Freddie gets excited from start to finish with a rich singing melody. There is no MC or piano improvisation before Death On Two Legs. However, the solid and energetic performance makes the live performance on this day even more amazing. The vocal fake control is also done in various places. What's amazing is that the girls at the venue remembered the lyrics of Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, I'm In Love With My Car, and sang them all, so you can't hear such a live performance in other countries, so it can be said that this is a take that allows you to enjoy the real pleasure of a live performance in Japan. The choir-like chorus at the beginning of Teo Torriatte is also wonderful. After this, If You Can't Beat Them is played in a rare position. The synergy with the hot reaction of the audience is also fun to take, but the essential Queen side's musical sounds are also recorded clearly, so you can enjoy the show with almost no stress. After the title call of It's Late, the sound quality is a little muffled (there is a cut at 1:30). On this day, the intro of Mustapha is sung before Bohemian Rhapsody, which is rare for a Japanese tour. The pitch is accurately adjusted in all takes, including the second half of the second day, where there is usually a pitch problem. Introducing a must-have 6-disc title for fans that includes a complete recording of the 1979 Fukuoka 2 Days in the best possible form.
