From the "Wolfgang's Vault" sound source series, which has released a series of official sound boards one after another and is now becoming the eye of the storm among rock enthusiasts, another astonishing, first-time appearance sound board title is now available. The 20th performance from the first North American tour in 1987 accompanying "A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON", the second day of the three consecutive performances at Brendan Byrne Arena in New Jersey, on October 11th, was recorded for 2 hours and 21 minutes with an ultra-high quality stereo sound board recording. The first half of One Of These Days, the end part of Money, and the beginning of the next song Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 are not perfect (the sound is a bit muffled until the second minute of Another Brick In The Wall Part 2, possibly due to the deterioration of the tape change), but the new sound source excavated at Wolfgang's Vault, where the second day of the New Jersey performance, which had only a reasonable level of audience recording, can be heard in an official line recording, will be nothing but a shock to enthusiasts. Speaking of soundboards from the 1987 tour, there is the Miami performance on November 1st (recorded on "SIGNS OF THE TIME"), and the familiar pro-shot edited footage of the Atlanta performance from November 3rd to 5th (DVDed as "Atlanta 1987"), but they were only cassette recordings with a large amount of hiss noise, or the narrow range of sounds peculiar to video footage. Of course, there is no way that the "Wolfgang's Vault" sound source series, which has been producing such amazing sounds so far, would emit a sound of that level. At the beginning, the synth sound effects running from left to right in the intro of Shine On You Crazy Diamond make you realize that the dimension is already different. The more you listen to the overwhelming sound image, the more it reveals its true nature. Gilmour's guitar, which fills the speakers, and the direct sound of Wright's synth evoke the natural feeling of "playing" rather than "outputting". It is such a magnificent stereo line recording. The stage is composed of complex and systematic sounds unique to this era, but if you hear it with RAW and direct sound to this extent, there is no doubt that anyone will be moved by the feeling of the sound like a work of art and simply listen to it. It's a perfectly mixed, ultra-high quality stereo line recording, but the ambient microphone picks up the audience's voices, so there's no silence between songs. It's such an amazing sound source that there are no flaws, so fans will be able to listen to the drama of the sounds that unfold one after another without any stress. The guitar solo in Time may be the best of all the takes I've heard since 1987. It's really amazing. It's moving. The synth sound in Welcome To The Machine is also great. The chopper bass in the back of the 4-minute guitar solo in Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 is also great. If you listen to it, you'll understand what I mean. I've never heard such a direct sound before. It's a raw sound even though it's mixed. Please enjoy the spectacular sound world that is completely mixed directly on the band monitor side, which has a completely different feel and impression from the PA out sound that you've been used to listening to until now.
