The Japanese version of the charity event live "A Concert For Human Rights Now!" hosted by "Amnesty" held in various countries in 1988, Peter Gabriel's stage at the Tokyo Dome on September 27th, is completely recorded for about 72 minutes with ultra-high quality audience recording, and it is the first appearance. The recorder is the same as "Japan Aid 1986", Clapton, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, Genesis, Floyd, and the performances in Japan in the 1980s with the highest sound quality that overturns the common sense of audience recording, by a rare famous taper, and this performance also contains the whole picture of the show with a top-level sound that will stun enthusiasts around the world. The closeness of the sound, the positioning, the punch, all of them are approaching with a wall of sound more than "Japan Aid", and how on earth can such a recording be made at the Tokyo Dome in 1988? You can enjoy this precious live with a sound of another dimension that is so strange that you will be struck by a strange sensation while listening. This was a big event live performance, with Bruce Springsteen, Tracy Chapman and others participating, but there has never been a live take of Peter's performance on this day released before, so it is a complete surprise to fans that it suddenly appeared with high sound quality comparable to a line recording. There is great value in being able to hear the entire two days of "Japan Aid 1986", but there was also a TV broadcast there, and even though it was a digest, the live performance was already familiar to fans, but anyway, there was no sound source of this 1988 Tokyo Dome performance until now, so this release will be nothing but a surprise for deep fans. There is no doubt that this will be one of the most representative titles related to Peter Gabriel this year. In any case, there is no sound muffled at all, and it is recorded with a sound like a line recording, but this is probably because the sound from the speaker is picked up directly by the microphone in a position where there is no sound blocking, such as the front row. The opening begins with a greeting in slightly halting Japanese from Peter: "Thank you for the warm welcome." It's a slightly more compact version of the usual "So" tour, but each song is wonderful to listen to. The last song, Biko, is simply stunning, proving that the Tokyo Dome was filled with amazing performances in 1988.
