In memory of Olivia Newton-John, who passed away at the age of 73 in August 2022 after a long battle with illness, the Tokyo International Forum performance on April 4th from her Japan tour, which was her first visit to Japan in 25 years in 2003, has been completely recorded on a digitally remastered stereo soundboard. This is a master of a different sound source from the TV on-air footage broadcast in Japan at the time, and remastered using the latest equipment in 2022, resulting in a quality that is on a different level from the previously distributed sound sources. In particular, the parts where the treble note was missing in several places, such as the opening song "Have You Never Been Mellow", have been perfectly processed, and it is at a level that can be officially released as it is. And since it was her first visit to Japan in 25 years, Olivia herself declared in advance that "I will sing everyone's favorite songs," and in fact the live performance was exactly that, with Olivia appearing led by a medley of her representative instrumental songs, starting with "Have You Never Been Mellow?", followed by three consecutive songs, "Xanadu" and "Magic". After that, she selected two songs each from her comeback album "GAIA" and her latest album "2" at the time, along with hits from the 70s and early 80s, and also performed the Carpenters' "Close To You". Most of the set was single hits, including the US No. 1 hits "Physical", "You're The One That I Want", and "I Honestly Love You", as well as "Let Me Be There", "Please, Mr. Please", and "Summer Nights". Her daughter Chloe Rose appeared on "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and performed a mother-daughter duet, and she played her solo song "Reason To Cry" and another duet "It Takes Two". Be sure to check out the songs with her daughter, "Love You Crazy", and "Sam" that were cut from the TV broadcast.
