MOTORHEAD in the Brian Robertson era, which had a strong and unparalleled individuality but ended in a bubble. A live album that completes the soundboard collection is now available. This work contains two FM soundboard recordings. It is a two-disc set with the "October 21, 1982 Genk performance" on DISC 1 and the "November 7, 1982 Vienna performance" on DISC 2. Speaking of the soundboards from the Robo era, the definitive "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" will also be released at the same time, but what is the relationship with this work? First of all, let's check the show's position on the schedule at that time. 1982 {January 26th - February 3rd: Production of "IRON FIST"} March 17th - April 12th: UK #1 (24 shows) May 12th + 14th: North America #1a (2 shows) {Eddie Clarke leaves the band → Brian Robertson joins} May 21st - June 12th: North America #1b (18 shows) June 26th - July 1st: First visit to Japan (5 shows) July 24th + 25th / August 13th / September 4th: Europe #1 (4 shows) October 14th - November 26th: Europe #2 (32 shows) ←★Here★ 1983 {February - March: Production of "ANOTHER PERFECT DAY"} May 27th - July 7th: UK #2 (30 shows) ←※ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION July 15-August 18: North America #2 (28 performances) ← *ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION August 23-November 11: Europe #3 (27 performances) November: Brian Robertson leaves the band This is MOTORHEAD in 1982/1983. The Robo era lasted about a year and a half, but in 1982 it was the "IRON FIST Tour" and the following year in 1983 it was the "ANOTHER PERFECT DAY Tour". The simultaneously released "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" was the latter, while this work is the former. It is a soundboard recording of the 7th and 20th performances of "Europe #2". These two performances were broadcast and have long been loved as valuable soundboard recordings from the Robo era. In particular, one song, "Nadine," from the "Genk Recording (DISC 1)" was adopted for the official box set "STONE DEAF FOREVER!" (The official box set is credited as "1983 Lyon Performance," but the correct version is the 1982 Genk performance). This work is a two-disc set that compiles the traditional FM soundboards with the best masters. It's a good opportunity, so let's check out the soundboard collection from the Robo era here. 1982 October 21 Genk performance ←★ DISC 1★ November 7 Vienna performance ←★ DISC 2★ 1983 June 9 "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION (Sheffield)" June 10 Manchester performance ←※ Official Dela Eddie August 18 "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION (Queens)" ... and so on. In other words, the official deluxe edition of "ANOTHER PERFECT DAY", our "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION", and this work complete the sound board of the robot era. The sound of this work is overwhelmingly close because of the line. Compared to the fully official "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION", the broadcast quality and master freshness are one rank lower, but the pleasure of being able to taste the precious robot era with a detailed sound board even in the fine details is exceptional. Moreover, the tour is different from "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" and the set is quite different. Let's organize it while comparing it here. Common songs for both days (6 songs) Iron Fist: Heart of Stone (★) / Go to Hell / America Others: Turn You Round Again (★) / (I'm Your) Hoochie Coochie Man / Nadine (★) One-sided songs (8 songs) DISC 1 (Genk performance) only: Iron Fist (★) / (Don't Need) Religion / I Got Mine DISC 2 (Vienna performance) only: Iron Horse-Born to Lose / Capricorn (★) / Overkill (★) / Shoot You In The Back / (We Are) The Road Crew (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that cannot be heard on the definitive album "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION". Since this was before the production of "ANOTHER PERFECT DAY", there are plenty of classics from the golden trio era. In fact, this is the biggest point. In the first place, at the "ANOTHER PERFECT DAY Tour" the following year, Lemmy, angry at the negative reception of the new album, left out all the standard songs and composed a set full of rare songs. In other words, the simultaneously released "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" does not have any classic masterpieces. Yes, this is the one and only masterpiece that allows you to enjoy "Robo's representative songs" on a soundboard. Although it is behind "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" in terms of sound quality, this work is full of masterpieces dyed with Robo's melodic guitar. For beginners, "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION" is recommended, but this work is also an absolute must-have for your collection. "Melodic MOTORHEAD" from the Robo era, different from any other era. Soundboard recording of the Robo era "October 21, 1982 Genk performance / November 7, 1982 Vienna performance". This is a famous recording that has long been loved as a valuable soundboard, and in particular, "Henk Recording (DISC 1)" was adopted as "Nadine" in the official box "STONE DEAF FOREVER!". You can enjoy repertoires that you can't hear even in our definitive "ANOTHER PERFECT COLLECTION", such as rare "Turn You Round Again" and "Nadine" and representative songs of the Robo version, on the soundboard.
