From the US tour of the 1976 "Jump On It" release period, the Boston performance on November 18th was recorded in full with an ultra-high quality audience recording. The recorder is Dan Lampinski, who has been announcing previously unreleased high quality audience recordings one after another, delighting enthusiasts around the world, and this board is also recorded with such outstanding sound quality that it makes you feel as if you brought a DAT master to the 1976 venue. The live performance as Robin Trower's opening act, and the first two songs are probably unpaid (I Got The Fire and Rock Candy?), so the recording time is short at 35 minutes, but the 1976 live sound source itself is rare, so fans will not miss it for a moment. During this period, Bob James, who joined the band from the previous album "Warner Brothers Presents... Montrose!" as a vocalist to replace Sammy Hagar, and whose high-pitched voice is reminiscent of Robert Plant, took over the role, and we can experience a precious performance from the mid-70s. It probably starts with a cut-in from the third song, Merry-Go-Round (from "Jump On It"). At the beginning, the recording level becomes unstable, but it quickly stabilizes. Anyway, the sound quality after being fixed is just amazing, and it is recorded with outstanding quality that makes you think that even recent live takes are not so high quality. Ronnie Montrose's long acoustic guitar solo is also a great listen. Bob's famous songs Space Station #5, Rock The Nation, and O Lucky Man and All I Need from the previous album "Warner Brothers Presents..." are very valuable, and it is a miracle that you can hear them with such great sound quality. This album features the best live takes of Ronnie Montrose's powerful guitar playing, Denny Carmassi's powerful drums, and Jim's powerful organ playing, all in the best sound quality for fans of 70's rock.
