The book "Concert File" states that if you have a Zeppelin bootleg in your house, it's probably the Destroyer. The April 27, 1977 Cleveland performance, recorded on a soundboard as a representative sound source of 1977, has long been a popular standard sound source. However, as you know, Destroyer was recorded from the middle of the opening "Eternal Poem", and there are other missing parts. Strangely, in the 1977 tour with such a rich sound source, no audience sound source of the same day has been excavated, and there is still no complete recording. However, it has become known in recent years that there are soundboard sound sources other than Destroyer on the 1977 tour. One of them is the Seattle performance on July 17, 1977, recorded in this work. This Seattle performance is the only one in 1977 that also has a professional shot video, making it an important concert for Zeppelin fans. [About the sound source] Like many previously released titles, this work also uses soundboard sound source derived from the video. However, the sound source of the original video had volume levels up and down and missing parts, so it was never possible to leave it as it was. In this work, the volume level was adjusted and the missing parts were supplemented with audience sound sources to make it completely recorded. [About the sound] The sound of the DVD is recorded in multi-audio and can be switched during viewing. First, there is the main soundboard sound source. Digital remastering has resulted in a thick and high-quality sound, and although the sound image is hard, even if you extract only this, it is enough to be a live album, so it can be said that the sound source alone is the best of this live. The second source, the audience sound source, uses the first generation tape of this source, and is a much higher quality upgrade than the already released version. There was a complex disturbance of pitch that is common to tapes of this era, but of course it would not match the video, so the pitch has been carefully adjusted. Seeing that the sound source is firmly linked to the video, it can be said that the adjustment is perfect. Although it tends to be overlooked due to the existence of the soundboard sound source, this audience sound source is not only in the high-quality category compared to other 1977 live performances, but rather it is superior in terms of realism, and you can re-experience the excitement of the audience seats, which was difficult to feel with the soundboard sound source. The third source contains a sound source that is a matrix of the original soundboard sound source and the audience sound source. The benefits of both the realistic sound of the soundboard sound source and the realism of the audience sound source are utilized, resulting in a heavy and truly wonderful sound. Moreover, it is basically distributed so that the soundboard sound source comes out of the left speaker and the audience sound source comes out of the right speaker, so this concert, which was only available in mono until now, can be heard in a fresh version with a pseudo-stereo effect. This Seattle concert has been evaluated only for the soundboard sound source with a sparse echo and sparseness, so it has been said that it is not a good live performance. However, when you listen to this wonderful matrix of audience and soundboard sound sources, you will realize that this evaluation is not valid, and you will be reminded that this concert is not inferior to other famous performances such as those in Los Angeles. The fourth and fifth sources contain two types of 5.1CH surround sound sources. There were some previous releases that claimed to be 5.1CH surround, but when you actually played them, most of them were meaningless, simply distributing the same mono sound source to five speakers. This work is different from them, and is basically 5.1CH surround in the true sense of the word, with the front speaker being the soundboard sound source and the rear speaker being the audience sound source, and the guitar being distributed to the right and the bass being distributed to the left, with different sounds coming from each speaker. This effect is wonderful, and when you actually play it sandwiched between speakers, you will have the illusion of being inside the venue. Two types of 5.1ch surround sound sources with different balance ratios are included, so I hope you will choose which one you like. [YOUR KINGDOM COME SEATTLE] A live performance at the Kingdome in Seattle on July 17, 1977 was recorded on a soundboard. In addition, the sound was recorded in two types of 5.1CH surround, soundboard, audience, and soundboard + audience matrix, allowing you to enjoy five different sources independently.
