■Complete recording of the Salt Lake City performance on May 26, 1973. ■Mainly soundboard recordings, with missing parts supplemented by audience recordings from the same day. ■There is an incident where "Georgia on My Mind" is performed ad-libbed. A title recording of the Salt Lake City performance on May 26, 1973 on a soundboard is now available. The 1973 US tour was a large-scale tour that was considered a watershed for Zeppelin, with the movie "The Song of Eternity" recorded on it. Considering that the next tour had to wait until 1975, and that it became difficult to develop improvisations except in a standardized setting due to stage direction, etc., it seems that this was the last tour in which the giant Zeppelin was able to freely control its huge body. In fact, in 1973, Robert's deterioration from years of overuse of his voice became evident everywhere, and it was a tour with a large difference in quality depending on the performance. It can be said that 1973 was such a tour that made you feel the end of Zeppelin's youth, which believed in expressing not only with instruments but with the whole body. Nevertheless, from the European tour at the beginning of 1973 to the US tour in the summer, there were many days that were called masterpieces, and there were many famous performances such as Kezer Stadium and Bonn, which were blessed with not only performance but also sound quality. There are also many soundboard recordings, whether complete or incomplete. However, although there are many soundboard recordings, there are surprisingly few complete recordings, and many of the performances are missing somewhere. Unfortunately, this Salt Lake City performance was not completely recorded on the soundboard, and the beginning of "Rock And Roll", the second half of "Whole Lotta Love", and the final encore "Communication Breakdown" are missing from all the titles that have been released so far. The source that was the basis of this work is mainly a soundboard sound source that was digitally transferred from the original master dropped to DAT. And the feature of this work is that the above missing parts are supplemented with audience sound sources, and the concert is completely recorded. Although there is a difference in sound quality between the soundboard and the audience recording, it is worth noting that the pitch is normal, the editing is skillful, and the concert is recorded completely without any discomfort. Also, for enthusiasts, this may be preaching to the choir, but in this Salt Lake City performance, it is unusual to play "Georgia On My Mind" ad lib before playing "Misty Mountain Hop" to connect Jimmy's tuning. You will be captivated by Robert's emotional and soulful singing of "Georgia On My Mind". And I was also very surprised by "Misty Mountain Hop" which finally started after the tuning was finished. There was a "Kaan, Kaan" sound in the song. I wondered what this was, but the owner of the sound was Jimmy. Even though Robert and other members played "Georgia On My Mind" ad lib to make time for Jimmy to tune, he was in a hurry and the tuning was still out of sync. Jimmy was actually adjusting it while he was playing. The clang, clang sound was actually the sound of Jimmy tuning the strings. It's not just skillful, but the idea of tuning the instrument during a song is amazing. Please listen carefully to the break in the song "Misty Mountain Hop". This title was recorded on a high-quality soundboard at the Salt Lake City concert on May 26, 1973. The missing parts were supplemented with the audience recording from the same day, making it a complete recording. SALT PALACE, SALT LAKE CITY OT U.S.A. May 26, 1973 DISC ONE 01. opening 02.
