The latest release from the hugely popular JRK REMIX! The JRK REMIX version of the live performance at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino on June 22, 1972 is here! It's an audience recording, but it's recorded with pretty high quality sound. Zep's San Bernardino performance is one of the most underrated performances in their entire career, especially because the performances before and after it (Seattle on June 19th and Los Angeles on June 25th) were great. This performance featured the debut of new songs from the next album and the basic set list from the first half of '72, with Page's original and inspired performance being the highlight. The set list was the usual, with songs like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love," but the performance was great. The master for this day was a little muffled, so I used EQ to make the sound clearer and sharper. I also made sure the guitar came to the forefront. Page plays an incredibly original solo. Plant's voice was just as great as it was in the summer of 1972. Enjoy this remaster. And as always, "PLAY THIS LOUD!"
