This is an alternate album to the unreleased album "Angel in the Dark" released after Nyro's death in 1997, and includes recordings from the 1995 recording sessions, as well as takes and mixes different from the official recordings, and additional recordings of live performances in San Francisco and other places that year. From soulful numbers similar to her debut style to quiet, introspective songs with only piano and bass, this was her last session, in which she had further matured. She passed away two years later at the young age of 49 due to ovarian cancer, so this is a must-listen for fans, and is available in the best quality.
