KANSAS is excited by their new work "THE PRELUDE IMPLICIT" for the first time in 17 years and the "LEFTOVERTURE complete reproduction tour". Here is their latest and best professional shot. This work was shot in "New York City on October 3, 2016". It is a multi-camera professional shot that was webcast on "iHeartRadio". The reproduction tour of the 40th anniversary of the masterpiece "LEFTOVERTURE" began at the end of September, and this work appeared immediately after the start. That's why the content was attracting attention, but unfortunately this day was only a studio live for the program, not a reproduction. However, the quality is perfect, as only the latest digital broadcasting can do. The image quality, sound, and mix are completely official class, and it is so perfect that no more words can come out. Even though the quality is official class, the scene depicted with that quality is a little different from the official work. First of all, the venue is small. The recording was done in a studio that would be filled to capacity with 200 or 300 people, and the structure with interviews between songs and the very simple lighting create a completely different atmosphere from the large concert hall spectacle. However, that is why you can encounter a different KANSAS than usual. The live performance with a full audience in that small studio is full of intimacy, like a club. The camera is on a different level from normal professional shots, and features not only Ronnie Platt, but also original member Phil Ehart and one-eyed guitarist Richard Williams in close-up shots. And KANSAS performing in such an environment is also wonderful. If they were a new band that just appeared, it would not be strange for them to play stiffly in a different environment than usual, but they are veterans with a lot of experience. As soon as they start playing a song, they give a passionate performance that instantly raises the temperature in the small studio. I'm happy with the major representative songs of "MASQUE", "LEFTOVERTURE", and "POINT OF KNOW RETURN", but the key points are the new songs "With This Heart", "Refugee", and "Rhythm in the Spirit" from "THE PRELUDE IMPLICIT". All of them were just released on September 23rd, and this is the third live performance. You can enjoy it as soon as possible with official moving images. I can't wait for the complete live album of the masterpiece "LEFTOVERTURE" and the news of the performance in Japan, but rather than calming such feelings, it's a sinful superb professional shot that burns up. It's a piece that shines with such perfect quality and KANSAS' performance. Live at iHeartRadio Theater, New York City, NY. USA 3rd October 2016 PRO-SHOT 1. Introduction by Jim Kerr 2.
