The live performance of the Berlin Trio at Porgy & Bess in Austria on September 6, 2024 has been recorded in full for over an hour and a half on the highest quality stereo sound board, which has been carefully mastered by the label itself. This two-disc set has arrived! This live performance features a wide variety of songs across genres, from Bill Withers' "Lean on Me," the Meters' "Sissy Strut," Dizzy Gillespie to Beethoven, Chick Corea's "Windows," and Berlin's "Marabi." I don't remember much about Berlin's walking bass or Dennis' perfect 4-beat drums, but as expected of one of the best technicians of his generation, they played perfectly from start to finish!
