Among all the underground sound sources of IRON MAIDEN, the historical Daimyo recording that has become a “symbol” is back in the ultimate version! The famous recording is an audience album containing “May 26, 1983 Hammersmith Odeon Performance”. It has been popular as "10 YEARS OLD EDDIE'S BOYS" and "DIE WITH YOUR BOOTS ON" since the analog era, and is still a famous recording that is sometimes distributed as a "sound board" today. In fact, its extremely clear and vivid musical tone has a perfect direct feel, and it is no wonder that it is considered to be a (superlative) sound board. However, that alone cannot make it a "symbol of MAIDEN boot." It's what's inside that elevates this recording to icon status. One of the reasons is that this recording is a masterpiece of “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983”. Despite the uphill climb of IRON MAIDEN that is "currently conquering the world," this tour has only released a few songs from the Dortmund performance officially, and there is no bootleg or full soundboard. Especially for Japanese fans, the tour is shrouded in mystery because there was no performance in Japan, and although the show is extremely good, it is a “hole in history”. “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983” is so desired, but there are two recordings that are recognized as the pinnacle by enthusiasts around the world. One is the Ipswitch performance on May 8th, and the other is the Hammersmith performance of this work. Yes, this work is a live album that is even comparable to that super masterpiece “EAGLE’S NEST”. The second reason why this recording can be considered a ``symbol'' is that it is a masterpiece of a masterpiece that is at its peak. The UK tour is also the initial date of “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983”, and the Hammersmith performance of this work is the 21st performance. The 7th Ipswitch performance that can be heard at “EAGLE’S NEST” was also a wonderful live (if you haven’t experienced it, check it out immediately!), but in this work, the entire band warmed up and the engine started. The powerful performance of this work is truly amazing. Bruce Dickinson is especially great. I want you to listen to the beginning of “Where Eagles Dare” no matter what! The sharpness and growth of the sudden roar of “Ahhhhh!!!” And the tension in his voice!! Of course, not only was he shouting, but he was also at his best after that. The singing goes on and on, the shouts are so intense that it feels like a slap on the cheeks, and the whispers are also very expressive. To be honest, even when the blues is in its prime or at its best, it is often rough, with too much emphasis on high notes and exuberance, but this work is dynamic, yet carefully sung, and is a masterpiece of a group of famous songs. Continue to embody the ideal type. I don't know how many dozen live blues concerts I've listened to, but it's truly a parade of once-in-a-lifetime masterpieces and superb singing. To be honest, even the official masterpiece “LIVE AFTER DEATH” is a super live out of the question. Even on IRON MAIDEN, which is always a high-quality stage, I focused on the vocals because they tend to have ups and downs, but the performers are also in great condition, not taking a step back from the blues. The twin guitars also produce a gorgeous harmony, and the sense of structure created by Steve Harris' gallop and Nico McBrain's geometric drums does not allow even the slightest shake. Still, it's filled with the passion that only a live performance can have...it's a live performance with no gaps at all. What's more, it's packed with the unique flavor of 1983. IRON MAIDEN's live style was completed with this next "WORLD SLAVERY TOUR 1984-1985" and continues to this day. This “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983” was just before that. Although the performance is complete with the addition of Nico, the show structure still retains the scent of the early days. The second half is especially interesting, with the rare live performance "To Tame A Land" only available on this tour as the centerpiece, and the guitar solo and drum solo build up the excitement. In fact, 1983 is also the last tour that included a regular drum solo, and it is the only tour where Nico has solo time at IRON MAIDEN. Furthermore, the long exchange in the encore “Drifter” has a strong smell of the early days. The balance between the wild beginnings and sophistication, this is the charm of “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983” that captures the hearts of enthusiasts. The true nature of this work is a live album that refines such masterpieces of performances and recordings to their ultimate form. Using the latest mastering technology, it takes advantage of the soundboard-like sound quality of the recording itself, and the bass is powerful, and the midrange and body are rich. The pitch has also been adjusted just right (the most correct one was off by about 20% of a semitone in the previous release), and the change in sound quality after "The Number Of The Beast", which was said to be the only drawback, has minimized the discomfort. It is suppressed to As a result, the sound produced can be described as “official audience”. No, it is a sound that is no longer at the level of “sound board or audience”, and is reviving the ideal live sound of heavy metal. This is a live album that has become the ultimate form of the "symbol of MAIDEN boot" and has taken "Mogami recording" to the next level. Experience the greatness of “WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983”, which has been overlooked by the official site, on one of the top shows!
