Introducing a studio album that covers all the cover tracks released since their debut! To begin with, IRON MAIDEN is a band that focuses on originals, but they have also recorded various covers throughout their long career. However, most of them are now out of print. There are many tracks that will be familiar to those who own "THE FIRST TEN YERAS" and "BEST OF THE 'B' SIDES," but "THE FIRST TEN YERAS" does not have any songs beyond the ninth, and "BEST OF THE 'B' 'SIDES' does not have 'Massacre', 'Hocus Pocus', or 'Space Truckin''. It is now difficult to collect them. This work is a compilation album that covers such cover songs. Of course, all official digital sound sources are used, making it an album that can be listened to as an "official cover album." The lineup is diverse, starting with "Women In Uniform" from the Paul Di'Anno era and ending with 2012's "Space Truckin'." Let me point out some interesting points: First, "King Of Twilight." Although the song title is one song, it is actually a medley cover of "Crying In The Dark" and "King Of Twilight" (NEKTAR's original is also played consecutively). Especially the rhythm pattern in the second half is exactly like "Childhood's End" from "FEAR OF THE DARK". “That Girl” and “Juanita” are derivatives of “THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF HACKNEY,” a side project started by Adrian Smith and Nico McBrain in 1985. Adrian was singing it live, but Bruce Dickinson is singing here. FM's Dave Colwell and Andy Burnett participated in that project, and "That Girl" is a song by that FM. However, although it was a cover, the original was not released at the time, and in 1986 it was released in competition with both FM and IRON MAIDEN. Steve Harris doesn't want to memorize these two songs, and Adrian plays the bass (although you can hear a Harris-like gallop...). All the guitars on "Juanita" are played by Adrian, and Dave Murray doesn't play them. It is an interesting cover that can be heard as a prototype of the later A.S.a.P. (“Reach Out” is also a number written by Dave Colwell for “THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF HACKNEY”, but strictly speaking it is not a cover song, so it is not included in this work) was not recorded). In addition to these covers that reveal the roots and band situation, there are also many covers of various rock classics such as MONTROSE, JETHRO TUL, THIN LIZZY, FREE, LED ZEPPELIN, THE WHO, UFO, FOCUS, DEEP PURPLE, etc., making it a great listen. Plenty. In fact, most of the interesting rare tracks from IRON MAIDEN are from the Paul Di'Anno era and Blaze Bailey era, and most of the fun tracks from the Bruce Dickinson era were in the studio. Even after listening to numerous collections of rare tracks, many people may find it boring. However, even in such a situation, covers of famous songs are good because of the quality of the song, the love for the original, and the spirit that makes comparisons inevitable. Since we have extracted only the cover, it is natural that it is much cooler than many rare track collections. Since 2010's "THE FINAL FRONTIER", IRON MAIDEN's singles have only been distributed digitally, and the number of rare tracks has drastically decreased. We may never release another cover. It is said that he also recorded ZZ TOP's "Tush" and THIN LIZZY's "Angel Of Death", but this is the only studio cover released. A cover album that can be called the IRON MAIDEN version of "GARAGE INC." and "METAL JUKEBOX" that completely overshadows them. Please enjoy it to the fullest! The compilation album contains all the cover tracks (78:21) 1. Women In Uniform (1980: SKYHOOKS) 2. I've Got The Fire (1983: MONTROSE) 3. Cross-Eyed Mary (1984: JETHRO TULL) 4.
