Here is a superb professional shot from their appearance at "ROCK AM RING 2006" 10 years ago. Currently, GUNS N' ROSES is on tour with Slash and Duff McKagan back in the band, but this was part of the "CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR". However, this tour itself has been going on for a full 10 years, so let's take a look at their positions in chronological order.・January & December 2001: 4 performances ・August-December 2002: 23 performances 《4 years later》 ・May-December 2006: 75 performances ←★Here★ ・February & June-July 2007: 20 performances 《November 2008, "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" released》 ・December 2009-December 2010: 76 performances ・October-December 2011: 41 performances The above is the full picture of the "CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR", 239 performances in 10 years. "ROCK AM RING 2006", where this work was filmed, was "June 2, 2006", two and a half years before the release of "CHINESE DEMOCRACY". This is the 9th performance after returning to the tour after a four-year hiatus. This work is a superb professional shot that was digitally broadcast at the time. METALLICA was also broadcast from this festival, and the DVD was very well received, but the quality of this work is just as good. The picture quality, sound quality, camera work, and mix are all perfect, and it is a masterpiece that could be made into an official DVD in its entirety. However, unlike METALLICA, which was broadcast live, this video is an incomplete version edited to fit the approximately 90-minute broadcast time frame. The songs that were cut in the editing were "Street of Dreams," "Madagascar," and "Out Ta Get Me." At the time, it seems that they avoided the new songs from "CHINESE DEMOCRACY," which was in production but had no prospect of being released at all, but on the other hand, "Better" and "I.R.S." were broadcast properly. In fact, this was the first time that these two songs were officially broadcast, and it was also a show that revealed a fragment of "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" to the whole world. It was a show where Axl Rose returned to the road for the first time in four years and sent new songs to the whole world. That's why Axl Rose's enthusiasm is different from usual. The passionate singing and the performance that is full of energy is rare even for this time of year, and the image is a masterpiece that fills the screen with the highest quality. What's more, the basis of the performance is full of super-famous songs from "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION" and "USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II". Of course, Robin Fink and Ron Thal's performance is quite different from the classic GUNS N' ROSES, but if you look at the basics of live performances, which are "famous songs", "good songs", and "skillful performance", the level is abnormally high. You can see plenty of the most luxurious and gorgeous rock and roll show of the time. Furthermore, the biggest highlight of this work is the guest. In "My Michelle", Axel's ally Sebastian Bach (I hope he will return soon...) appears and the two of them sing hyper. Axel, who can move more nimbly than now, and Buzz, the eternal explosive boy, run around the huge stage in a small space. The dialogue and screams are hyper, and it's a gorgeous, energetic, and off-the-wall collaboration. After this song, you can see from the white breath that they are out of breath. It's high quality in every respect. Not only the image and sound quality, but the show, production, performance, and performance are all of high quality. Now that Slash and Duff have returned, it's a time that is likely to be overlooked, but that's why it's interesting to look back on it with peace of mind. The latest live performance and the classic footage are great, but this is also a page of history. Live at Rock Am Ring Festival, Nurburgring, Germany 2nd June 2006 PRO-SHOT (88:27) 1. Intro. 2.
