From the two's joint Japan tour in 1991, the second day of the Tokyo Dome performance on December 15th and the final day on the 17th, both of which were completely recorded with super high-quality stereo audience recordings of the highest level that surpassed all previous releases, this is a 4-disc set from the longest master ever recorded. The provider of this master has previously released the high-quality sound source of Clapton's 1979 Ibaraki performance, as well as Mick Jagger's 1988 Tokyo Dome performance, Pink Floyd's 1988 Tokyo performance, and other performances with the highest quality, so you can imagine the high quality this time as well. It is hard to believe that it was recorded at the Tokyo Dome, where the sound is terrible, as the band sounds close and there is no sound blockage, and the stereo separation and power are also noteworthy. Moreover, it is a perfect master with no noise or tape change losses like those on the previous releases. The 15th was the day with the most takes adopted in George's official live album "Live In Japan". In other words, it can be said that George himself was satisfied with that day, and fans will love being able to listen to the complete version with this high sound quality. Since the take of this day was recorded most often on the official album, it was a live performance that had few releases in the past, and since the performance quality was high on this day, it is definitely good news for enthusiastic fans that the high-quality sound source that was absolutely evaluated among enthusiasts as "the best recording of the 15th performance" has been made into a CD. In terms of sound quality, the 17th (Discs 3 & 4) feels even higher, but it can be said that this take, which can be said to be the best sound source of the 15th, which was not blessed with a good audience recording, is worth more than the 17th take. The final day, the 17th, was the second most used day on the official album after the 15th, and considering that the encore highlight While My Guitar Gently Weeps was recorded on the official album with a mix edit of the 15th and 17th, it is certain that George himself liked the performance on this day as well. Also, in Roll Over Beethoven, there was a heartwarming scene where George's son Dhani (who was only 13 years old at the time) and his classmates, who accompanied George, made a special appearance on guitar. This is a take that I would like you to listen to while imagining the face of George, his father, playing while watching his son play hard. This performance has our definitive 4-disc title "His Majesty", but it is recorded with the highest sound quality that can be said to be perfect, surpassing even that. To be honest, the sound source of this board is better sound quality than "His Majesty", but since it was not long after the release of "His Majesty", it was released with a gift title, which was very unwilling. Even with this re-release, I listened to this sound source and was surprised again by its overwhelming quality. The sound is surprisingly close and the stereo separation is excellent. The clarity and grain of the sound are wonderful, and the sound is also thick enough. This is also of such high quality that it makes you wonder if it was recorded at the Tokyo Dome. George Harrison himself was satisfied with both days and recorded them on the official album. The title of the 4CD release is a complete recording of the sound sources of both days, which can be said to be the highlights of the second half of the tour, with the highest level of sound quality. If the release titles this week, along with the first day of the Yokohama performance released at the same time, come together to bring together the best parts of the first and second half of this tour, this edition will also be a must-have for enthusiasts. From George & Clapton's 1991 Japan tour, the final days of the tour, the 15th and 17th, will be released as a 4-disc set from the master sound source of the rare taper that can be declared the best of the day.
