A special live album from the "Trilogy" era is a new discovery. This work contains the "Berlin performance on June 6, 1972". Although the existence of this recording was known to core collectors, it had never appeared as a live album. However, recently, a treasured item from a core collector has appeared. It is a recording that is on a different level from what you would imagine when you hear the so-called "treasure", and enthusiasts around the world are in a frenzy. The core collector is "Per-Erik". He is famous as a famous taper in Scandinavia, but the collection he has gathered using his masterpiece recordings as a trading weapon is overwhelming. Currently, the collection is being released little by little, and even if the sound source is famous, the generation is young or it is completely recorded, so the "Per-Erik collection" has been semi-branded. This work is a masterpiece that further enhances such a brand. In fact, the sound is really wonderful. There are almost no spectators, and the way the ensemble of three people reaches you thick and straight is like a sound board. Of course, there is a vintage 1972 atmosphere, but the outlines are clearly defined and the musical tones are shot up, and each sound jumps in with almost no sense of distance. Everything is recorded beautifully, but I would especially like to mention the bass. The grain is incredibly beautiful. In the 1970s, the keyboard of the star Keith is clear, but the bass is muffled and fuzzy. However, this work is as vivid as or more vivid than Keith and Carl. This sound is ideal for a keyboard trio. Originally, keyboard trios, which originated from percussion instruments, have a sharp rise of each sound and a stronger beat than guitar-led rock bands. On the other hand, audience recordings, which tend to blur the bass, are often not very suitable. However, the sound of this work has no flaws at all, and you can enjoy only the deliciousness of the raw audience recordings. Unfortunately, there was a 4-second cut in "Promenade" at the beginning of "Pictures at an Exhibition", but this work was made up for by the "June 4th Essen performance "ASSAULT YOUR SENSES"" two performances before. It was finished so that you can enjoy it seamlessly. Even so, it doesn't feel strange to make up for it with the superb sound of the masterpiece "ASSAULT YOUR SENSES" ... It is surprising that such a famous recording was kept secret. The EL & P depicted by that sound is also incredibly wonderful. Just "1972" promises a fulfilling performance, but if you go further into the date, the awesomeness is easier to understand. It's a good opportunity, so let's review the "Trilogy" era here. 《January 1972: Trilogy completed》 - About 2 months later - March 1972: Cardiff (1 performance) - March-April 1972: North America #1 (35 performances) - About 1 month later - June 1972: Europe #1 (13 performances) ←★Here★ 《July 1972: Trilogy released》 - July-August 1972: Japan + North America #2 (27 performances) - About 1 month later - September-December 1972: UK (23 performances) - 4 months later - March-May 1973: Europe #2 (22 performances) 《June 1973: Production of "Terror Brain Reform" begins》 This is the process from the completion of "Trilogy" to "Terror Brain Reform". There are some vague points in the records of the 1970s, so it is not precise, but you can get a rough overview of our activities. And this Berlin performance is the third performance of "Europe #1" just before the legendary first visit to Japan. This position is exquisite, and the ensemble has been touring North America since the completion of "Trilogy", and there is no fatigue after about a month off. On top of that, the tension is that "Trilogy" is about to be asked to the world. In addition to the songs that have been played since the debut, the actors are all together in "Hoedown" and "Tarkus", and there is no sense of unfamiliarity. Even so, the exquisite Nanshiki's sharp performance that has not yet reached familiarity is unfolding! It is a masterpiece of a live album that explodes in Europe, the home ground, with the band's potential as it is in the legendary first visit to Japan. EL&P, which accelerates its sprint towards "Terror's Brain Reform", spreads with the best sound secret to mania.
