The studio session, held in June 1970, with George Harrison also taking part, is recorded in master quality and soundboard format. The so-called "Layla Sessions" held at Criteria Studios in Miami two months later is a famous recording that has been in circulation for some time, but this time it is a session take with not only Duane Allman but also George participating. Although the song is not very complete because it is a jam-style session, it is undoubtedly a valuable record of Clapton's time before he started touring as Derek & the Dominos. Furthermore, fans will love the fact that they can enjoy Duane's brilliant slide playing, even though it is just a jam session. Studio Sessions, June 1970 : soundboard recording 01.
