Currently, professional shots of various bands and artists are mass-produced from ROCK IN RIO, but in 2017, DEF LEPPARD appeared on the fourth day of the seven-day event, "September 21, 2017". They performed just before the headliner AEROSMITH. AEROSMITH was participating in "ROCK IN RIO" for the first time, and the same was true for DEF LEPPARD. They were once scheduled to appear at the first event (1985), but at that time they gave up due to the delay in the production of "HYSTERIA". Their gap was filled by WHITESNAKE (there is a connection between white snakes and white snakes). After that, even when "other countries' versions of ROCK IN RIO" such as Portugal, Spain, and the United States were held, they were not able to participate. "ROCK IN RIO" finally came true after 32 years. First of all, let's check their position in the overall tour in order to check their recent situation.・April 8th - May 6th: North America #1 (18 performances) ・May 24th - June 25th: North America #2 (20 performances) - 3 months later - September 21st - October 7th: Latin America (8 performances) ←★Here★ This is the 2017 live schedule. In preparation for next year's planned tour, it is quite small, and the Rio de Janeiro performance of this work is the first day of the "Latin America" leg. Such a work ... is already a perfect official professional shot that there are no words. Not only the image quality and sound quality, but also the sound mix and camera work are perfect. Before the show starts, it starts with a scene where the members head to the stage, and from there it is super beautiful. Phil Collen's terra tera and bishibi muscles walking in the front also shine (are they even building up!?), and even the pores seem to be visible. Of course, the main show is also ironclad. Every scene is super clear, and the dynamic light show used all the way up to the stairs of the drum riser is super colorful. That said, this work has a slightly different atmosphere from ordinary professional shots. That's audience noise. In any country, professional shots cover the soundboard sound with the voice of the audience. The cheers are very hot and close. Of course, like other professional shots, they don't interfere with the performance. The mix keeps the performance under control, and the volume is raised at the excitement point or between songs. That's the same for this work, but there are several types of voices to mix, so depending on the scene, if you think that a sense of scale is created with "big cheers", you might get a "close cheer" like an audience recording. Of course, the way they use them is also in line with the songs and scenes, and the art is strangely detailed. This combination of spectacle and realism is not often seen in other countries' broadcasts or official works. "Has South American broadcasting evolved to this extent?" ... It's such a wonderful video work that it makes you feel emotional. The show depicted with such quality is a golden greatest hits. Although it is not the finale, the 1 hour and 20 minute time is filled with super masterpieces. "Let's Go" and "Man Enough" will also be performed from the latest work, but the remaining 12 songs are a thorough hit parade of the past. This day will be the first show in about three months, but there is no sense of "familiarization" only for the veteran DEF LEPPARD. You can witness the brave figure of Vivian Campbell with her hair grown again and the guitar with "Phil" written in katakana in a brilliant multi-camera pro shot. It is a first-class product with a reality that is not possible with an official product, while being of the highest quality. It is comparable to the official board "AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME", and is the "2017 edition" and "South American edition" of it.
