Gaskin, who has built a unique and lustrous vocal style after playing in Spirogyra and Hatfield & the North, are recreating this ultra-rare Tokyo-only concert, which was said to be the last live performance in the world! The Tokyo performance on March 20, the first day of their 2009 Japan tour, which was said to have been 7 years in the planning, is recorded in master quality audience recording. The first part opened with "Jupiter Rising" from "Green & Blue", and after a break, the second part opened again with Joe Zawinul's "In A Silent Way". Since it was the first day, there were some unstable parts regarding the equipment settings, such as the keyboard sound becoming unstable during the intro to the encore "Lobster", but the performance itself was perfect as expected. In addition, the sound quality has been improved with 24-bit digital remastering to a high-quality master, making this a must-listen for Canterbury fans!
