From the Chicago US tour that released their 8th album "Chicago VIII" in 1975, the Providence performance on August 17th is completely recorded with ultra-high quality audience recording for about 2 hours. The recording person is Dan Lumpinski, and this is an excellent live sound source that is recorded in particularly high quality among his recording takes and will make Chicago fans around the world go crazy. The first song is the blues-like Anyway You Want by Peter Cetera that opens the new album, the second song is Women Don't Want To Love Me from the previous album "VII" penned by Robert Lamb, and the third song is Terry from the new album again.・You can enjoy Cass's Oh, Thank You Great Spirit and numbers typical of the 1975 tour from the beginning. This is a live show from when the band officially welcomed Brazilian Lauzil de Oliveira as a percussionist, making the group eight-piece, and Lauzil's Santana-like percussion play is also captivating. The fifth song was James Pankow's delicious Brand New Love Affair, Parts I & II from the new album. In the first half, there are people talking around the recorder during the instrumental part, and there are parts where the audience's bad manners make them tired, but the audience gradually becomes more focused and listens to the band's splendid, passionate performance. can be heard from the sound. From there, they performed a series of hits such as Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?, Just You 'n' Me, and Call On Me, sending the audience into a frenzy. The suite Ballet For A Girl In Buchannon, which is played in the middle, proudly creates a show peak (there is a tape change cut at So Much To say, So Much To Give). The second half of the show is a series of representative songs, and at the end, Danny and Lauzire Following a Latin rock-style drum and percussion solo, James will perform Old Days, a hit single from the new album. Furthermore, the Beatles' cover Got To Get You Into My Life is played with great gusto, throwing the audience into a melting pot of excitement. The final grand finale, “25 Or 6 To 4,” is a spectacular performance recorded with the best sound, so you can fully enjoy the exciting performance. The 2-hour show, filled with a variety of listening spots, is truly a masterpiece! The recording is stable from start to finish, and can only be described as a Lampinski recording, which is top-notch in terms of content, sound quality, and value. A highly recommended title representing the 1975 tour is now available. Performance Live at Providence Civic Center, Providence, RI. USA 17th August 1975 TRULY PERFECT SOUND 1. Anyway You Want 2.
