Bob Dylan's performance in Belgium on July 7, 1990, recorded with the best audience. In the summer of that year, he toured European summer festivals with a band centered around GE Smith, a guitarist who had built a new golden age since 1988. Among them, he appeared at the "TORHOUT-WERCHTER ROCK FESTIVAL" in Belgium. This summer's festival tour was a time when the highest quality audience recordings were mass-produced at the time in a short schedule, and this day was also of amazing quality. The sound image of the performance is extremely close, and the bass is also surprisingly captured. It is surprising that the bass, which tends to be neglected in audience recordings of this era, is captured so well. Rather, depending on the playback environment, the bass may be too much, so please adjust it with an amplifier or something. Also, the original recording had a low volume up to "Gotta Serve Somebody" in the first half of the live performance, so we adjusted it without any discomfort and made it possible to listen to the entire performance with peace of mind. The best sound source has been firmly adjusted. And this day was a short set that could fit on one CD, even among the festival tours, which helped Dylan to be in high spirits from start to finish. The opening song, "Silvio," is an extremely rare pattern that is worth listening to for enthusiasts, but from there Dylan was already in high spirits. Even though it is clear that the engine is at full throttle until "Gotta Serve...", even the acoustic corner, which is usually a breather, is high spirits. It is unfortunate that there are parts throughout this corner where the chatter around you is piercing (although it is a festival-like scene different from the artist's solo performance), which is the reason why it was treated as a gift, but even if you take that into account, both the performance and the sound quality are worth listening to. GE's guitar handling from "I Shall Be Released" to "Like A Rolling Stone", which runs through the end of the live performance, is artistically brilliant, and there is something special about the era when he was a member. The refreshing performance of the encore "Blowin' In The Wind" that follows is also exquisite. It's like a CD that condenses the charm of the live performances of GE Smith, who is very popular among enthusiasts, and features a superb audience and super high-tension Dylan that you can listen to quickly on one CD.
