This time, it is a collection of live recordings from the band's tour in the UK before they moved to France, from their appearance at the Cavern Club in August 1962 to their performance at the London Palladium in January 1964. The strongest compilation of the early Beatles, focusing on the early Beatles and recording all of their powerful performances. Overall, there are many short sound sources, so the content is somewhat aimed at core audiences, but it is a valuable collection of sound sources that Beatles collectors cannot miss. Let's briefly introduce the contents. First of all, Disc 1 starts with 2 takes of the performance at the Cavern Club on August 22, 1962. This performance has long been famous as the earliest sound source and video, but it has been discovered that there are several versions of the video and subtle differences in the sound source. This work includes both takes, so please listen to the difference. Also, "Some Other Guy", which was re-recorded on September 5th, was re-recorded by Granada TV, and the sound quality is much better than the one recorded on August 22nd. Also, the performance at this time had different lengths before and after, but the one recorded in this work is the longest version, which is longer both before and after. The early bluesy "I Saw Her Standign There" rehearsal at the Cavern Club, said to be in October 1962, is very valuable, and you will be surprised by the harmonica arrangement. Other recordings include live performances during television appearances at the time, performances on "People And Places" and "Pops And Lenny", and a live performance at Southport on August 27, 1963. Although it was mentioned in Mark Louison's complete records, many people may say that this is the first time they have heard the actual sound. The last of Disc 1 contains the London Palladium performance on October 13, 1963 with four types of existing sources. According to the Beatles themselves, this London Palladium performance was an important concert that changed their consciousness to go out into the world. Due to the nature of the event, it is a stage with only a few songs, but in addition to the complete recording from the introduction to the ending theme, all differences in the source are also included. Disc 2 contains the highlight of this work, the first East Ham performance. It is thought that concerts at the time were approximately 20 to 30 minutes long per stage, but you can listen to only 9 minutes here. However, since the recording is not just the first 9 minutes, but picked up here and there, you can get a rough idea of the flow of the concert. The concert, which begins with the host's announcement of “I Saw Her Standing There,” is an extremely valuable piece that unravels the history of the Beatles, considering that until now there has been no comprehensive live recording from this period. I understand. Particularly rare is "You Really Got A Hold On Me", the only live version of this song is the studio live on the BBC and Sweden, and it is the only live version purely on the concert stage. It's a take. What's interesting is that despite the laid-back melody, the venue was filled with cheers from beginning to end. You can also see the state of Beatlemania at the time, which you could not feel in the studio live. In addition, multiple sources are also recorded separately for the Bournemouth performance on November 16, 1963 and the Manchester performance on November 20, 1963. The TV program "Morecambe And Wise Show" was included in the anthology, so it is now a well-known TV appearance, but "All My Loving" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand" were cut when it was included in the anthology. A complete version of the program that also includes ” and more. Furthermore, the live performance of this program is recorded using three different sources, including a broadcast sound source from 1963. Furthermore, the December 7, 1963 Liverpool Empire performance is known for both offline and online sound sources, but the four songs recorded here are audience sound sources recorded at the venue at the time. Although it is a fragment and the sound quality is not good, it is included as a valuable document. And the end of this set is the London Palladium performance on January 12, 1964. Compared to the previous year's fresh performance, it can be said that the performance was full of dignity and dignity. Historically, the Beatles moved to Paris, performed a long run performance, and then headed to America, and their subsequent leap forward is well known. This work can be said to be full of valuable historical value, allowing us to learn about the process by which the Beatles gradually became a big name before they went out into the world. In fact, on Disc 1, they were still playing cover songs at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, but at the end of Disc 2, they played the original songs at the traditional London Palladium, which was sold out. Enjoy this wonderful performance. A complete collection of concerts in the UK from 1962 to 1964. With this title and Star Club, Liverpool Empire, and Sweden released from the same label, you can completely cover the live performances of this period. The definitive edition of the early compilation including the first East Ham performance. DISC ONE CAVERN CLUB LIVERPOOL 22nd AUGUST 1962 01. Some Other Guy (take 1) 02.
