This is an audience recording of the New York Academy of Music performance on November 2, 1973, from the "GET YOUR WINGS" tour that continued until December of the same year in conjunction with the release of their second album in March 1974. This year's tour was a circuit around the United States, mainly with support acts such as Deep Purple, Mott The Hoople, and Uriah Heep, and was a tour that cultivated their skills as a live band. At this performance, you can hear a performance that was significantly improved compared to the previous year, and you can feel that Aerosmith's unique sticky groove, especially in "Lord Of The Thighs", was perfected at this time. The set list was made up of songs from the first and second albums, and the raging performance of "Same Old Song And Dance" and "Train Kept A Rollin'", which later became classics, foreshadowed the near future of reigning as one of America's leading live bands, and the now rare "Woman Of The World" from the second album is played for about 10 minutes. The sound quality is good enough for an audience recording from 30 years ago, and although there is a gap in "Train Kept A Rollin'" due to a tape change, you can experience Aerosmith's full stage from this period vividly for 51 minutes.
