The superb live album of "AC/DC + Axl Rose", commonly known as "AXL/DC", is now available! As this combined unit was the biggest shock in the rock world in 2016, recordings and videos of the band are currently traveling around the world at a furious pace. We have introduced two carefully selected titles so far, but this one boasts outstanding quality! First, let's take a look at the titles released so far along with the live dates.・May 7th: Lisbon (Portugal) *First day of the combined tour ・May 10th: Seville (Spain) ・May 13th: Marseille (France) "MARSEILLE & WERCHTER 2016" ・May 16th: Werchter (Belgium) "MARSEILLE & WERCHTER 2016" ・May 19th: Vienna (Austria) ・May 22nd: Prague (Czech Republic) "PRAGUE 2016" ・May 26th: Hamburg (Germany) ・May 29th: Bern (Switzerland) ・June 1st: Leipzig (Germany) ・June 4th: London (UK) ・June 9th: Manchester (UK) [This work] ・June 12th: Aarhus (Denmark) ・June 15th: Düsseldorf (Germany) These are the tour dates that recently finished. In addition to this, 10 performances that were postponed from August to September will be rescheduled, but these 13 performances are the first dates that will inform the world of the century's fusion. Among them, this work is an audience album containing the "Manchester performance on June 9, 2016". In fact, the most popular at the moment is the audience video "PRAGUE 2016", which we introduced in a gift the other day. It is a masterpiece that allows you to witness the "miracle fusion" with its extremely intense visual beauty, but unfortunately there were cuts in some songs. In contrast, although this work is a live album without vision, it is extremely elegant and allows you to seamlessly immerse yourself in the show. The quality is truly amazing. It is a world of audience recording where digital equipment has made remarkable progress, but even in that world, it is outstanding. Although it is definitely an audience recording because the real enthusiasm is slightly overlapped, the clarity and thickness of the musical tones are not inferior to the sound board. Starting with Angus Young's lead guitar, Stevie Young's rhythm guitar that sounds like a gugigugi, and the beats created by Cliff Williams and Chris Slade are clear and crisp. The spectacle of the cheers is also firmly contained, but it's like the swell of a faraway sea. It is the straightforward musical sound that dominates and penetrates the whole work. Of course, the singing voice of the much-anticipated Axl Rose is wonderfully clear. This quality is about two heads above the countless recordings that have appeared, and it is definitely the No. 1 sound (for now). The live performance of AXL/DC depicted by that sound is amazing. As I have written in the titles so far, this is also mysterious and cool. There is no doubt that it is the "AC/DC song" and "Axl's voice" that have sunk into my ears, but even if they are combined, it doesn't feel strange... The two titles so far have been great, but by the 11th performance, it feels even more familiar, as if they were "originally this kind of band". I was excited about the return of Slash and Duff McKagan to GUNS 'N ROSES, but Axl seems even more lively!? I'm not lying when I pray for Brian Johnson's recovery, and I won't say anything like "comparison", but I can't deny that AXL/DC is frighteningly cool. I'd like to see this combination in Japan... Axl, who has finished 13 performances with AC/DC, is scheduled to return to GUNS 'N ROSES' "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME... TOUR" immediately. Here is a quick summary of the upcoming schedule: GUNS N' ROSES: "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME... TOUR" June 23rd - August 22nd (20 shows in North America) AC/DC: "ROCK OR BUST WORLD TOUR" August 27th - September 20th (10 shows in North America) ... It's a very busy schedule, but what happens after that is undecided. Brian is also beginning to see hope for recovery with a new technology hearing aid (?), while Axel said, "I'll continue if they (AC/DC) want me to." Will Brian return to AC/DC, or will Axel continue to do both? AXL/DC is so popular worldwide that it's becoming impossible to tell what's going to happen. With AXL/DC being such a hot topic, we're looking forward to the discovery of official live performances and soundboards, but there's no guarantee that they will be released. However, if that doesn't happen, this work will be "AXL/DC's masterpiece". Of course, the video "PRAGUE 2016" is recommended for your first experience with AXL/DC, but if you want to listen to the full show without missing anything and think about the future of this miracle unit, this work is the best.
